Salzmann’s mille graines is not demanding and grows relatively fast. It gets along with medium lighthing and moderate carbonate hardness. CO2 supply is not absolutely necessary but enhances the growth, as for all aquarium plants. Lower temperatures up to 25 °C are beneficial, this plant also tolerates cold water well under 20 °C. It is easily propagated by cuttings. Sometimes shoot tips detach themselves and float around in the aquarium what is apparently normal for this plant. As well as Diodia cf. kuntzei, it only develops very fine roots that anchor the stems only poorly in the substrate. Old stands of the plant tend to uprooting, and replanting of the shoot tips is necessary.

Hedyotis salzmannii looks best as a larger, up to 30 cm high group. It contrasts well with red and dark green plants with its light green tone. Salzmann’s mille graines should alse be interesting as emersed, nicely flowering plant for paludariums and Wabi-Kusa.

Fluval Algae Magnet is specifically designed for Fluval EDGE aquariums. The Algae Magnet enables you to clean the inside of the aquarium’s glass without getting your hands wet. Its slim design is ideal for hard to reach areas, such as beneath the gravel line, behind heaters, around rocks and decorations. A large internal scrubbing pad makes it easy to see what you’re cleaning. Powerful magnets ensure a tight grip and non-abrasive cleaning pads will not scratch the glass surface. It also has a specially designed floating magnet retriever. The Surface Skimmer helps eliminate undesirable films and organic waste, while oxygenating the water and keeping it clean in the process. The Surface Skimmer fits all Fluval 05/06/07 series Canister filters. It draws water from the surface of the aquarium eliminating undesirable surface films. Marine aquariums in particular that do not employ a surface overflow will substantially benefit from the implementation of the surface skimmer because it contains no metal parts.Fluval C-Series is the world’s first and only 5-Stage clip-on power filter that offers two mechanical phases, a chemical phase and a two biological phases for amazing water clarity.

As the world’s best-selling performance canister filter, the 7th generation 07 series features Fluval’s eTEC (Efficient Technology) state-of-the-art materials and design refinements which make them ultra-quiet, powerful, energy efficient and user friendly for aquariums 10 to 100 US Gal. (40-500 L).
