For dual thermometer placement, position one thermometer in the warmest spot and one at the coolest spot of the terrarium. Keep away from direct light/heat from incandescent bulbs. Install the thermometer horizontally for a more accurate measurement (temperature varies at different levels in the terrarium). Can be placed inside or outside the terrarium.
