Product Overview

Crypt Lucens is a less common type of crypt that can serve as an ideal foreground or midground plant. The slender leaves are bright green with brown stems and when grown in large groups can resemble tall reeds of thick grass. Like other crypts, this plant is recommended for beginners due to its ease in keeping and low care requirements. If grown in good aquarium substrate such as Controsoil, the plant can feed through the roots and grow quickly without the need for high light, CO2 or fertilizer dosing.

Crypts can be grown emersed or submerged. Propagate by splitting the rhizome or cutting off new growth and replanting

The Surface Skimmer helps eliminate undesirable films and organic waste, while oxygenating the water and keeping it clean in the process. The Surface Skimmer fits all Fluval 05/06/07 series Canister filters. It draws water from the surface of the aquarium eliminating undesirable surface films. Marine aquariums in particular that do not employ a surface overflow will substantially benefit from the implementation of the surface skimmer because it contains no metal parts.

Fluval Spray Bar Kit is used to direct water to any area of the aquarium, increasing surface agitation and improving oxygenation that is essential for a healthy aquarium.
