The Fluval AquaClear 50 Power Filter features a unique multi-stage filtration system that provides complete mechanical, chemical and biological filtration for superior water quality. The Power Filter has a filtration volume that is up to 7 times larger than comparable filters. It also allows superior contact time with filter media. The filter preserves beneficial bacteria creating a stress-free environment for aquarium inhabitants and maintaining clear aquarium water. Its unique waterfall design enables filtered water to return to the tank silently, gently breaking the surface tension and creating beneficial oxygenation. The Power Filter’s patented flow control feature allows you to adjust the water flow according to your aquarium needs. The media basket prevents water from by-passing the filter media, maximizing filtration efficiency. Installation and maintenance are quick, easy and convenient. Fluval AquaClear offers an extensive line of media, including Zeo-Carb and Ammonia Remover, exclusively designed for the Fluval AquaClear 50 Power Filter.

Fluval Algae Magnet is specifically designed for Fluval EDGE aquariums. The Algae Magnet enables you to clean the inside of the aquarium’s glass without getting your hands wet. Its slim design is ideal for hard to reach areas, such as beneath the gravel line, behind heaters, around rocks and decorations. A large internal scrubbing pad makes it easy to see what you’re cleaning. Powerful magnets ensure a tight grip and non-abrasive cleaning pads will not scratch the glass surface. It also has a specially designed floating magnet retriever.

The Surface Skimmer helps eliminate undesirable films and organic waste, while oxygenating the water and keeping it clean in the process. The Surface Skimmer fits all Fluval 05/06/07 series Canister filters. It draws water from the surface of the aquarium eliminating undesirable surface films. Marine aquariums in particular that do not employ a surface overflow will substantially benefit from the implementation of the surface skimmer because it contains no metal parts.
